SERMAT was founded in 1976 to design, develop and manufacture electromecanisms dedicated to very demanding fields of Aerospace, Military and Space, and Industry where specific performances or environments are required.
All the developed products are fully qualified to fulfill the specification requirements.
Since its creation, SERMAT built its reputation on reliability and technical performance of the products and its ability to design quickly new applications.
SERMAT designs and manufactures from a customer specification all types of products:
 Electrical motors and associated electronic drives.
 Rotary actuators, linear electromechanical actuators or motoreducers.
 Brush DC motors drives, Brushless DC motor drives, position or speed controls, sine command.
 Brush DC motors, Asynchronous motors, torque motors, limited stroke motors, variable reluctance and magnet step motors, motors “without iron” with very low cogging torque, motors with electromechanical brakes, clutches, reducers and tachogenerators, immersed motors for fuel pumps.
 Electromagnets.
 Sensors : RVDT, resolvers, tachogenerators.
 Permanent magnet generators, or with wound armature, with or without incorporated rectifier.
 Electrical starters and generators.
 Stand by batteries and battery chargers.
